Talking about human rights, Oscar Grant, a young black man, was shot dead point blank in Oakland, California a few days ago. 1,000 people protested the killing and riots broke out, resulting in 100 arrests. As of today (January 10, 2009), it is not sure whether the white policeman will be indicted or not. This shows another face of human rights and racial equity in America.

Remember both Mao Ze Dong and Abraham Lincoln are great men who have liberated those unlucky folks from slavery. I admire and respect both of them.

For one thing, Chinese press should use [Xizhang] instead of [Tibet], like we now use {Beijing] instead of [Peking], or [Guangzhou] instead of [Canton], except for historical matters. They are important not for the name sake, but for our own mind set and how we see things in our perspective and terms.

I think it is sad that so many are simply blaming the evil "Western Media" on the Tibetan situation. Yes Western Media is FREE PRESS, which means, they can pretty much say whatever they want without government intervention... of course their stories are biased at times, but any "Westerner" has the freedom and privelage to look up information for him or herself. Since I enjoy looking at both sides, not just one side, it is obvious that Tibet, the "West", the PCR (CHINA) all have issues and mist... (More details.)

Tibet issue is certainly a human rights issue, which China has already addressed decades ago by expelling the Dalai Lama. China has liberated all slaves whose human rights" have been seriously violated by Dalai Lama. The question is, how come the western media failed to recognize this, and chose to bash China under the pretext of human rights? That really puzzle me.

All Nations have acted less than human and no race, nation or otherwise may hold itself guiltless within the annals of human history and it"s development into Nation States. We are all on an evolutionary adventure by the knowledge we have all collectively gathered through trial and error. From cracking nuts with a rock to pushing buttons to destroy ourselves. We are almost to the point where we realize war is a ridiculous option. Is my opinion.
What we all need to figure out is how to save ourse... (More details.)

Although the writer starts out with a shrewd observation about nation-states, this comment goes downhill from there.
As ridiculous as war is as an option, merely pointing this out with an expression that we are our worst enemy is laughably naive. Does the writer think space aliens are another enemy? Does he/she think nation states" interests will simply go away by wishing for Kumbaya? Does he/she think those wishing to kill for political advantage are reading this and feeling remorse?
Then, to ... (More details.)

Issues in " Tibet, Zimababwe, Myanamar, North Korea, Sudan, etal " , are NOT and never have been about HUMAN RIGHTS.
The Human Rights issues raised by the white western mass media deceptions(WMDS) and LIES, in rest of the world, are a COVER UP for the henreous criminal ABUSE OF FREEDOMS, HUMAN RIGHTS, DECENTRALISED DEMOCRACIESAND CVILIZATIONS , around the world, by white colonial thugs&mobs, for over 500 years.
HYPOCRITICAL DOUBLE STANDARDS ON HUMAN RIGHTS, propogandised by western media must b... (More details.)

It is not. It is actually a staged anti-China incident followed by well-co-ordinated propaganda to twist the facts and to achieve certain political agenda of some people. Please read:

Uk, Germany , France acting in consort with the USA
still think and act like colonial powers.
they think and behave that the "white" men
are appointed by their "gods" to lord over other
races and governments.
IMF, World Bank control by these people also use their power to control and destroy others
( asian crises 1997 is a good example how IMF
did its best to push asian countries down).
Dalai Lama a CIA agent since the 1950s pretend
to be a holyman and did and still doing untold harms to China... (More details.)

The west had never been honest about reporting news truthfully in other countries. They called it free press but the truth is they are serving the interest of the western powers not the ordinary people they claimed to serve. The sad thing for me is to see and hear people from those country believing what they read in the western press. For those we had lived in the west for sometime hopefully will relised that press here is also a political tool used by the establishment to spread propagadan and... (More details.)
