So, What has Communist China now FULL of MILLIONAIRES who I"m sure don"T "share" their Profits Gained in the past 20 years from Trade with the West, provided Exactly for the Tibetan People now ? Show the Comparisons and PROVE IT. Anyone can type anything to make others Believe it. I recently met a Chinese Canadian who returned from China, and said Tibet is CLOSED to Tourism again. Why is this ?

CHINA - the most insecure nation on planet earth. An old frail man who talks peace is enough to rattle a so called "superpower". China grow up, give power to your people!

Mount Qomolangma is not the highest mountain in the world. The highest mountain in the world is Mount Everest, right? Maybe the world"s highest seismic station is on Mount Qomolangma.

Arunachal Pradesh is the Eastern-most state of India. It is not "so-called" anything. It is a part of India, and it"s borders are not contested by China. Thus it seems that China objection to any visitor to this area is simple Chinese meddling in the affairs of another sovereign country.

Indian people and govet is generous in term of letting 0ver hundred thousand Tibetan settle down in India which is like a drop of Tibetan in Vast sea of over one billiion people. Indian Govt on the other hand never support Tibet politically. Even did not support sincere autonomy which many Tibetan are yearning for. let alone independence.
How long and how many generations those Tibetan will live in India or eventually become Indians.

The poor Chinese getting nightmares from the Dalai Lama"s activities.Seems China makes its foreign policy on the basis of Dalai Lama"s friendship with any country. If China does not want the Dalai Lama to grow in stature it should display statemanship in ignoring him and not getting rattled by his trips.

China"s reaction to the Dalai Lama"s activities is understandable. Do you think the governments of US, Britain or Australia would keep quiet and ignore the issue if countries were to support Osama bin Laden and invite him to visit their countries?

As China emerges on the world power it has to take into accountn the views of other nations not just try to influence others to follow what China thinks is right or in its intersts. Whether China likes it or not, the Dalai Lama is well respected in the West not so much for his views on Tibet but his religious, moral and social role. While many Western leaders find it benficial to get along with the Dalai Lama it is absolutely certain no country will support either Tibetan independence or the Dal... (More details.)

For a long time I wondered why so often China allowed foreigners to interfere in Chinese internal affairs. To add insult to injury, most of these foreigners came from states famous for war crimes, yet want to pretend to be holy. Mr. Zhu is the first to let them know they cannot bully China. He has answered with facts and preserved China"s integrity. Congratulations!
