So they think it was a Shangri-la in the past, and refuse to acknowledge that Tibet was under Dalai Lama"s theocratic rule and 95% of the commoners were slaves before 1959. So innocent uninformed people become easily mobilised to protest against China by some politicians. They do not know that the Tibet separatists in exile are fighting for their o... (More details.) |

| There is a language barrier for most people in the west to understand the issues. Despite the Chinese have many historical records to prove the sovereignty claims, the records have been mostly written in Chinese. Most ordinary folks in the west can"t read them directly, except the sinologists. I think it is good that more and more people in the west are learning the Chinese language. Some day, many people can see the records themselves, and understand that Dalai Lama has been lying. |

China must put out more news about Tibet.
complete lack of news allow western powers
and Dalai lama to tell montrous lies and
deceive the world particularly the youngs.
something is very wrong about the department
or the local govt.handling news about Tibet
and allow a single Dalai Lama travelling
the world spreading hatred and distortions
about conditions in Tibet.
there must be a COMPLETE OVERHAUL of the news
dept. Time to wake up after sleeping 50 years.
