Its not just Indian media broadcasts a anti-China message. After reading this article, I strongly believe its you too.

Average Indian does not normally
think about China let alone feel awe, envy etc. Because of the 1962
war they generally do not trust China. Apart from that China does not enter much in average Indian
consciousness.

I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE IT, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SAY WE HAVE TO THINK ABOUT WORLD DEVLOPMENT. LOT MORE THINKS TO DO IF YOU VISIT AFRICA YOU CAN FEEL THE HUNGER AND REQUIRED ATTENTION. WHY WE LIKE TO WASTE OUR MONEY FOR THIS STUPID WAR WHAT CHINA AND INDIA WILL GET FROM THIS.

We need to look at the opportunities...the chino-india relations offer.....trade ties, cultural bondage, manufacturing partnerships.....so on and so forth........rather than the bizarre perceptions of war,threats,incursions......we as human race should think way ahead......India-China,brothers in arms ....a superpower in the making....Please let it flourish.......

Brother, I agree. Both China and India need to see common ground and also agree to disagree with others.
Both were victims of colonialism and invasion. As victims we know the pain and suffering as well as the humiliation.
Today both China and India are rising. It is better to have mutual respect, understanding cooperation friendly and peaceful co existence. If there is any area of competition then it must be peaceful, purposeful and of course beneficial.
The bord... (More details.)

As an Indian I am really amazed to see this article. If there is any problem with China, it is simply because of the backstabbing in 1962.

Despite the belief in the West that China started the war with India. Official CIA documents and history books have confirmed the Chinese view that it was provoked by Nehru"s India and India made the first move by invading China.

This is a very thoughtfully researched article. The media on both sides - both the state controlled media in China and the commercially oriented media in India - should help in fostering closer understanding between the two neighbours rather than driving a wedge. The people of India have a very good opinion of the Chinese people who they consider as kind and culturally similar. Similarly, the Chinese people at large view the Indians favourably. After all, there are far too many similarities in c... (More details.)

Why did china occupy Indian territory, AKsai china and North Eastern territories? and now it tries to expand its principle in Arunachal pradesh. Chinese military had not got lessons from India, yet. Definitely, this century, chinese will fail in their coward attempt. Mind it "Chinese military won in 1962, by cowardly invaded the Indian territory, when indian military presence is less in the bad weather season."

Indian media is free and if one group of media is influenced by West then we have another group of media influenced by Communists and so Indians always get a balanced view unlike you Chinese who get to read only Chinese Communist Party propoganda. China is known for treachery - Sriram

If you see any of neighbouring countries bordering India no other country except china has progressed, why the reason is everyone knows see any country with its borders touching India (Exception china) every country has to depend on India , no body has progressed to extent like china.

The main culprit of the Mumbai terror attacks Hafiz Saeed the chief of Jamat Ud Dawa terrorist organization is being protected by Pakistan thanks to Chinese help. China has blocked action against Hafeez Saeed at the U.N. Security Council. China needs to re-examine its stand against protecting terrorists.

India is the only terrorist state in this region. BJP, Times of India and Hindustan Times are destroying India by dividing its own peoples. Also Indian cast system is a cancer in India"s body which can not be treated. The only solution is to divide India further in to religion and its cast basis. India have been interfering and terrorising it"s neighbours for very long. It is too much. China should stand up and teach India lesson because they forgot last one.

At this time when both the neighbours are trying to develop their relationship this kind of article is indeed very disappointing.

This article is timely, a reminder that one must not do any act to undermine the other.
While you are talking or holding peace talks you do not reinforce your position or you would be sending wrong signals and causing undue concern.

A very insightful article. Captures the essence of the twisted & ego filled Indian mindset. India"s ambitions are way ahead of the ground realities. Nothing wrong with that but look at the fact that even in this issue, the Indians find excuses to drag Pakistan in. As a Pakistani myself, I am proud of the fact that we have the utmost of regard for China & it"s people. Moreover, our relationship is time tested on economic, cultural & millitary fronts as well. I would advise Indians to put their re... (More details.)

You are pathetic,
pakistan and china have nothing in common.
Such friendships based on the enemy of my enemy is my friend don"t last.
pakistan has much to gain by considering itself part of the subcontinent.
I have seen pakistanis behave is a pathetic and
fawning manner in front of chinese to the point of feet licking. This shows the pakistani inferiority complex.

IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME THEN LOOK AT THE PAST WHAT CHINA AND INDIA HAVE WENT THROUGH THE WEST WERE ADVANCED BUT WHAT DID WE GET ACCEPT POVERTY SO REALIZE MY FRIENDS LETS NOT CRITICIZE EACG OTHER BECAUSE THEN THERE ARE COUNTRIES WHICH MAY TAKE ADVANTAGE ........

This is an unfortunate article and I"m sure an average chinese citizen think this way.I have lot of chinese friends and we never discussed such things. This is a shame.
War is short word but too big to handle, both China and India are 100:80 in military strength and and average Indian doesn"t think Chinese as their enemy .
We want to do business, make deeper cultural ties and encourage border talks for permanent solution. An agression will hurt both given the above equation.

The only logic behind this article is that Chinese have ill will and bad intentions towards India. While on the other hand India wants to progress further without any ill towards China or any other country. India"s progrss will cotninue. No one needs to be afraid of this. In today"s world there is room for cooperation but not for domination.

the banking sytem in china is not fool proof and no body shouls have any doubt in that regard as even USA and Europe cannot claim that the banking system is reliable and well protected.Over that China spends almost 130 to 150 billion dollars on defence every year which can be said to be for the countrys defence, but what about the defence of the pension, the education of children, the future of elderly, isnt their money being spent by the chinese communist party for their ends and means.Chinese gove...
