Why blame China alone? Many leading companies of the world wanted to take advantage of cheap & skillful Chinese workmen and so they shifted their factories to China & in the end much pollution is transferred to China. Needless to say it is a win win situation for the investors and for China but unfortunately not the environment. India was used by the Soviet Union before when the they occupied Afghanistan. It was during that that India had access to advanced Soviet fighter jets and other technologies. At that time the Soviet saw India a good buffer to Western interference and clandestine activity.
