I am not able to understand the the depth of the diplomacy that China has used for last 30 years:
human diplomacy,
military diplomacy,
economic diplomacy,
how these basic diplomacy adheres to the basic tenets of Marxism and Communism in this new era?
Is this diplomacy really internationalism of revolutionary days?
kindly tell me is there any materail from which I can start understand some of these issues.

On May 12, an 8.0-magnitude earthquake jolted southwest China, causing huge casualties and massive destruction. United as one and standing up to combat the disaster with prompt and effective rescue efforts, China won sympathy and respect from the world.
To combat global warming, CHINA SHOULD ONCE AGAIN UNITE AS ONE AND STAND UP TO SHOW THE WORLD HOW IT CAN WORKS. Do it using nationwide public education, ask public to start from the simple things such as turn off the electronic tools when not ... (More details.) |

| History lives within and constrains, the present and immediate possibilities of all societies--and individuals. When comparing say systems or individuals, it is not enough to compare the quantity or quality of what each has produced relative to the other. It is also important to compare what each has produced relative to what it had to work with; and, it is most important to compare each in terms of the total or real costs involved, on whom those real costs fell, and most importantly for whom th... | That is a huge task for a country with 1.3 billion people. 30 years of reform has yielded much improvement in many aspects, and we hope that there will be more achievement in the next 30 years. |

| I love you, China!! I was born in Changchun, Jilin Province, but I grew up here in the U.S.A. I go to China every summer still, and I am so proud of my motherland! |

| Socialism means all the power to the working class, all economy to the working class. You can use capitalist ways so to strengthen the economy but this has a danger. To become your society a capitalist society. But workers all around world would welcome China to be a socialist country of example. With no deaths of workers in private mines, with no poverty, with free education, transportation etc. We live capitalism and we know what it is. Privatization, poverty, war, unemployment, we pay for all ... (More details.) |

I agree with this statement. Capitalism wears many "mian zhao" and offers, with a smile, many "tang yi pao dan". But the bottom line for any system is how, with what costs and benefits and for whom does it really work.
The type of person from whom the most profit can be made under capitalism (selfish, narcissistic, ultra-individualistic, competitive, materialistic, fad-driven, predatory etc) is exactly the opposite of the type of person that socialism seeks to create and nurture (cooperative, s...
