| I love China a lot. I am an American. I have visited your country several times and married a Chinese wife. I would be horrified to be arrested in China on allegations of spying. I don"t break the law, I am no "bu jun de". But what if it was some kind of mistake? Has anybody ever seen the movie "Red Corner"? I am just a regular person not a bigshot. How to defend myself? I am an American citizen, I have also married a wonderful warm loving Chinese for my wife. we have been waiting for more than two years for her visa to be at my side here in the US. I dont know what happened at her interview for the I-129
K3 visa, but she was deniedby the Interviewer ( I found out later was a black woman) for no possible reason. Fraud ? bring it on ! My wife and I know a love that only comes once in a life time, if you are very lucky. I have been to Chongqing twice, and each tim... (More details.) |

| In some sense you are lucky. China"s police always treat foreigner with respct. It happens in any country. A lot of Chinese were treated much worse than that of you. Those were not right but it happens. |

| May be it is time for foreigners charged with a crime in a country other than their homeland to be given the option of a trial in their own language but according to the legal statutes of the country where the allegations took place an under the adjudication of that places linguistically qualified judges? |
