It appears to me after reading the many responses that most of you believe that there is some grand conspiracy going on???? I mean by using the Dali Lama, as crutch for your arguments is so weak and misguided that it fails to make any argument. Anytime any nation (including China and/or the U.S.) uses force and/or false propaganda to annex another country, it’s wrong. In fact, if one country gets another country to submit to their government or philosophy by force or by virtue of false and ... (More details.)

I know that we can dissolve the Dalia"s image the same way we made it.
I help make him and I believe I will help to unmake him and allow him to discard this garb of self admiration that has made him sick and confused.
He"s now lost in movie plot and surprise, he is the hero that saves the world.
He need serious time in in his cell. Maybe a 3 year retreat would make him a monk instead of a movie star. Only problem is that he is causing others to now suffer in jail or now are dead.
He is what is ... (More details.)

The Delai Lama is a disgrace to China. I for one totally disagree that China should talk to him. Is he representing the Tibetan People? Does he have the right to negotiate for an Independent Tibel? He is an anti-national out to split China and doing so by resorting to seeking outside and/or foreign support to pressure China. With the Beijing Olympics around the corner he is increasing his activities resorting to terror as can be witness in the March 14th Riots this year. This arson, murder, plun... (More details.)

If Dalai Lama shows up at the Olympic. Give him a standing ovation. And then chant “ONE CHINA!!!!!...”
When Condoleezza Rice should heard the chant, too.
If any foreign athlete pulls out a Tibetan flag during the entry, they should get the chant. Make sure they heard it over and over until they can remember it.
Let’s show the world the Chinese people can play by western rules, too. Let those protesters in. We’ll meet them with our own protest.

Dalai lama is willing to be a tool for western interests to batter china.
his govt-in-exile consists of his brother. sister-in-law
and a few former slave owners . over 90% of
tibetans in india were born in india, hence they are
indian citizens. still all included, the sum total is less than 100,000 people.
in tibet (china) there are more than 5,000,000
(5 million) people. how can any right thinking person thinks dalai lama represent the tibet people. he has been out of tibet since 1959.
does h... (More details.)

The Dalai clique is made up by the so-called official and unofficial organizations. The official group is in charge of inventing the theory of “Tibetan separation”, while the unofficial organs take charge of Carry-Out His-Separatist-Activities. They had done all to spoil the summer Olympics, and sabotage the torch relay. Chinese people all over the world have been outraged by them.
China recently has witnessed a series of disasters, such as the May 12 8.0-scale deadly earthquake in Sichuan p... (More details.)

The Dalai Lama is sponsored by some western countries as a tool to contain China and undermine the smooth devleopment of China. We shall never deceived by him.

Dalai always claims he represents the interest of Tibetan people; to have a talk with the central government is not a matter of himself but a matter of all Tibetans.
But as far as I know, Dalai has no reason to represent Tibetan people. Because he escaped in 1959 after a failed armed rebellion led by him. The central government dissolved the former Tibetan local government, and carried out democratic reforms. For a long period before 1959, however, Tibet had been a society of feudal serfdom cha... The Dalai Lama was not and will never be the true representative of the Tibetan people. In the past, he was the ruler high above the surfs. After he run away iin 1959 he became a running dog of the imperialists. What he did in recent days harmed the people"s normal life. Innocent people lost their lives in the riot. Is this what a true rep of Tibetan people supposed to do?

Necessary preconditions for further contacts
Several contacts between Dalai and central government have been held so far. With enormous tolerance, honesty and patience, the Chinese central government hopes the Dalai clique stop the activities to split China, stop instigating violence, and stop spoiling the Beijing Olympics and get ready for the upcoming talks.
However, we can still hear from the Dalai clique some nice verbal words. Dalai Lama speaks politically and peacefully but other Tibetan f... (More details.)

Where can he go?
Dalai Lama has declared time and again that Tibet is part of China, and so is Taiwan. But when it comes to action, he resorted to the Western countries for mediation in internal affairs of China. It makes people doubt whether he is intended to solve the conflict in a peaceful matter within the jurisdiction of China.
China’s central government has brought about major economic progress, as well as democracy, to Tibet which has made Tibetans’ human rights improving significantl... (More details.)

He is playing word game again. The great Tibetan region he advocates is Tibet independence in essence.

Grab the chance
Some senior officials held talks with Dalai Lama's representative on May 4 in Shenzhen. The two sides agreed further exchange at proper time would be held again.
Undoubtedly it would be a good chance for Dalai Lama to improve the relationship with central government. So it seems to me he should cherish this chance and get prepared for further contact with positive actions. "Three Don'ts" -- don’t split China, don’t instigate violence, and don’t disrupt 2008 summer Olympics ... (More details.)

Don’t talk to the double-dealing Dalai Lama!
The flunky Dalai Lama has been causing troubles for China for years with the aids of foreign elements and forces. What’s more, he never stops threatening us from the beginning of this Olympic year.
Ever since China’s Wenchuan earthquake struck on May 12, the international community has paid little attention to him, so he started to stir up troubles in different places in the world. Recently, Dalai Lama even said that Tawang, the birthplace of t... (More details.)
