Seeing it yourselves, reading information from multiple sources, and remaining skeptical all the times will help fight rumours and fabricated news reporting.

Tibet is open to foreign tourists again in June. If you are interested, why not take a trip to see it yourselves?

My friends and colleagues went to Tibet after the railroad was open to foreign tourists. They had brought back very positive experience and memories. Dalai Lama and his supporters repeated their stories of genocide and cultural genocide, but the people they saw seemed to be quite happy and healthy.

As a overseas Chinese from South East Asia, I support the statements made by the Overseas Chinese Association and hope the Western citizens should understand the whole issue properly before taking any sides and stay out of tibet"s problem. China is more than capable to resolve its own internal problem. Tibet"s problem has got nothing to do with China"s hosting the Olympics. Olympics is a sports events and should stay at that. Not for tibetans to air their grievances
