It would not make one bit of difference if every country on earth supported the separation of the state of Texas from the U.S.
It won"t happen.
Opinions are plentiful.
The right of a nation to address its own affairs
is sovereign. Why should you care so much what others opine?

Historical precedent is good to take into consideration. The history of the world is the history of different governments expanding and contracting. Kuwait was once part of Iraq. Rome once ruled all of Europe and England. Spain had its days of colonialism as did all the western powers. The press today chooses what it will report and uses different criteria for that. It does not use the same rule evenly and fairly. If it had its way the world would be broken down into tribal & family units again.... (More details.)

I stand with the Chinese government in their comments about the Dalai Lama and the province of Tibet. The media coverage of this situation in the West is extremely biased.
