| But in China and elsewhere, like the U.S., bicycle-friendly paths have been disappearing. Unfortunately Bicycles and pedestrian walkways, and yes, the environment too, have been sacrificed to allow smoother vehicle traffic. |

Your prediction number 1 is full of holes and flaws. It is a scare tactic employed by you to keep people away from cycling. Infact, the health benefits of cycling are considerably higher than any purported ill-effects of breathing exhaust fumes. | I can not agree with what you said upon. Honestly, if staying in the car, the less harmful of evironment influencial will be. But have you ever think anout the resources of city fumes? Accoring to the statistics, nearly 30% to 60% of air pollution is resulted by the vehicle exhaust。 You could look back the news about Beijing"s air quality when Beijing"s holding Olympic Games. | the return of the bicycle in china is a good thing. people should adopt to a less wasteful and more environmentally-friendly form of personal transportation. It is also healthier. |
