That"s Greatttttt, to know your history. I know mine directly back to Charlamagne, Robert de Bouillon,Sir Dymoke, the Kings" Champion and desended from their descendant in the Cavaliers, who conqured the Virginias in 1650 and became Pioneers to settle the West. Where I discovered geothermal resources for electrical production.
My DNA says I am Anglo-Saxon-Mongolian_Lebanese.
It should be easy to see your DNA mix with the Han, the same as mine shares other than European. So what! Those with the G... (More details.)

Tibetans do not decent from Mongolians, they"re native Zhang Zhung (also Shang Shung).
Zhang Zhung are native to the Tibetan plateau.
Tibetans once had an Empire twice the size of China, back in 800AD.
Tibetans have always been attacked by the Chinese, no matter what era.
Tibetans once were free from Chinese slavery.
I study Chinese and Tibetan history for 6 years now.

Let"s get the facts straight:
(1) "Tibetans" are not indigenous to the area we call Tibet. They are off-shoot of the Mongolians who conquered the region by military force, and they destroyed several cultures and nations in the region doing it.
(2) DL continues to talk about "Greater Tibet", a term used to describe the height of the Tibetan military empire, which was bigger in size than Tang Dynasty China. No Dalai Lamas has ever had control over "greater Tibet". If that"s any indication of hi... (More details.)

What about the time before Genghis Khan"s reign? How long had the Yuan dynasty lasted? Before Genghis Khan, what was the status of the Mongol tribes within the Chinese empire?

The Dalai Lama is supported by western powers because they believe in his ideas regarding Tibet. That is it. Western countries are not so stupid that they would support the Dalai Lama just because of a video. These "fake videos" have nothing to do with why westerners support the Dalai Lama. Why do western countries support him, then? It is because "freedom" is more than just a word, it is a perspective. Many people support the Dalai Lama because he has this perspective. They agree with his ideas... (More details.)

50 years ago the Dalai Lama and his rich landlords, supported by US and some Western nations eg Britain revolted against the Chinese government. 50 years later, the Dalai Lama is still being manipulated and supported by these western powers. Will the Dalai Lama come to his senses? Never, because he is so well off and fully financed by these western powers to eat, sleep, flying around the world to spread lies about Tibet. Sam

The western people believe that Dalai lama is a good person, but he is not! He just have a huge entertainment industry (Hollywood) to back him up, to show him as a good and trustworthy man.
He is as false as the western entertainment industry.
The phenomen Dalai lama, are a no good icon for many good people with good intentions in their life, but are guided by a person with no conscience at all.

The people of the world no longer move from either an understanding of principle, nor from an understanding of history. They are moved by what makes them "feel good"... Any policy short of this will meet with disapproval...
