Genocide happened in the United States, and Canada. Just ask the native Indians, and Inuits.

Genocide? Genocide in China? Are you kidding me? How come we don"t know about it, being a bilingual overseas Chinese who still has relatives and friends living within the Chinese mainland? But in the American History course in university my American professor did told me about genocide that happened in the past. It seems China bashing has taken its effect now by reading your comments. China is the "victim" of China bashing. Aren"t you not?

At least their is no genocide in America!
Being a naturalized citizen of the U.S, I feel that we have great freedom. Even though the death penalty is horrible, it is only for those that have committed such crimes, not to innocent people. And abortion? Who are we killing? Their not even babies yet!

My experience from two years of living in China was an eye opener for this American in that my feeling of personal freedom is greater in China than in my home in the USA. The US critizing China"s human rights record reminds me of the old saying: When you point a finger three are pointing back at you. We Americans need to remove the plank from our own eye before we attempt to remove the sliver from China"s.

What about the holocaust of abortions on both sides ? Who introduced abortions in the first place?

America should not pointing finger to other countries about anything. Take care of their own business first and they are not the best and most righteous people on earth! Look what they have done to the world about this financial tsunami and they were still blaming about others saving too much etc!
Hate those hypocrite and why can"t people accept one and other and live harmony? Keep your own standard to yourself.

I was not born in China, Taiwan or Hong Kong but I have seen many Human Rights crimes being committed in the United States of America.
Every country has its own Human Rights Record written down according to the United Nations of Human Rights Charter.
Human Rights should have its "limits" in his or her own country.
America has many Human Rights violations in its own country that haven"t published to the outside world.

I agree that the United States needs to begin looking at its internal problems related to human rights violations, and enact legislation to improve the human rights of Americans. Only then can the United States legitimately make claims about human rights issues in other countries. Until the United States adresses its own human rights problems, criticisms about other counties is only received as arrogant and hypocritical.

Isn"t it great that this information is freely available to the public via the media without the publisher being in fear of arrest or retribution. The US has a lot of work to do. We can only hope that President Obama can begin to rectify these terrible injustices.

Thank you very much! I want world peace and prosperity and I am sick of the deamonzing of everyone and the thoughtless participation in this by my fellow Americans. It is hurting us too, making us very dumb. You should provide the entire report in one .pdf file or something

As usual, they can only look at what is on the opposite side but not themselves. Why bother? Deng Xiaoping said, the basic right of the Chinese was to have 3 full meals a day. The Chinese have achieved this. They are still improving on it.
A bit of hiccup here and there, what is the worry?
It is just like employment- can anybody make a country with 100% employment? Can anyone satisfy everything the other people want? They complain so what?
Take is as a slight, a joke or anything.Rome is not buil... (More details.)

After reading about my country in your publication and also having a Chinese Wife and learning what I have learned, I have one thing to say... "They lie in China." My poor wife has gotten such an education.
