In my opinion the author is completly wrong.
Yes, wealth has nothing to do with guilt or innocence because these are moral categories. When we discuss wealth and richness in industrialized and industrializing countries today we have to ask where it comes from. A question the author didn′t answer at all. You just have to read the first chapter of Marx "The capital" then you will know that there can′t be richness without poverty. This isn′t the consequence of wrong distribution of goods like... By my reckoning, if it has taken New China only 60 years to create 320,000 millionaires, it will only take 4375 times that long before it makes the other 1.4 billion people also as rich. But will they be wise?
But then, I am not so good at maths. |

| I don"t see capitalism working any better than communism. As a personal opinion on wealth, it takes a disproportionate amount of time away from your life to generate something that you can"t take with you at the end of it. Money does not mean happiness either, and neither does fame; for example Kurt Cobain. It takes a certain amount of obsession with meaningless things like life and money that supposedly have some sort of intrinsic value. Firstly, some one needs to die and tell everyone what it"... | The major tenet of Marx`s economic theory which remains valid (amidst the mistakes made in the application of his political theories since the death of Engels and Lenin-another topic), is the Tendency of Capital to Monopoly (ie. "The more you have the more you get"). I hope the Chinese Government will maintain the wisdom to control that tendency and make sure there is redistribution with growth, to ensure a country of moderate prosperity for all its people. |

91% of all Chinese worth more than 100 million RMB have parents who are members of the Communist Party. What a strange coincidence...
It must be frustrating to be "vanguard fighters of the Chinese working class with communist consciousness" while at the same time seeing your children amass all that wealth. |

only an elite few have superior intelligence and instinct to create wealth.
why then should the fruit of a few great trees be given to the majority?
I am in California, USA and have watched poor people rise to success based upon their superior talents for creating wealth. I have also watched their children born into wealth, squander it ...
people are NOT created equal ... why should they be given the same then? |

What is the defination of becoming rich.
Either hidding the wealth all the life, OR
either enjoy with what you have and utilize your wealth in good things as per your thinking ?
As our great poet, every body will die in these seven days of the week, what left after is the sprit, morality of the person gone.

As human being we respect everyone no matter poor or rich so long as they make their fortune legally, but in China you can investigate the path of all the up-starts, if through legal way we welcome but can you find anyone of them making money through the legitimate way? So this article is a deceived one, probably the author is from a propaganda department rath... (More details.) |

China is not a threat to Australia: true, it"s too far away.
So why is Australia prepared to spend so much to defend itself?
Obviously Chinese and international comentators on this are not in Australia, if they were they would see why. Australia"s closest neigbour Indonesia has around 240 million people is unstable and has various groups that include radical islamists, the army and a general anti-Australian sentiment. This dates from President Sukarno times in the 1950s and won"t change soon. |

But with high technologies and a much decreased proportion of farmers most Chinese can go into the service and manufacturing sectors to provide goods and services for thselves and the Chinese economy as a whole. This way all will get richer as they become more productive due to the mechanisation and automation enabled by advanced technolo... (More details.) |

"Wealth is nature"s way of rewarding effort, creativity and productivity. It is what drives evolution of societies"
Funny, because it seems to me that it is the uncreative idiots who get all the money, and the smart and creative often live like paupers and get no credit. Was Einstein in it for the money? Van Gaugh? Mao Zedong? This notion of humanity is a capitalist fairy tail that cannot stand up to the slightest bit of scrutiny.

| I am an American. Here in America the very rich people and their corporations control the government. The governmment does not control them. At this time I believe that in China, from what I have read and seen in my trips there, the government controls the corporations. | "Labor a small part?" Where would factories be without the workers? The workers are forced to sell their labor for a pittence. Workers can replace management. Einstein, Van Gaugh, Mao were not wealthy but certainly very bright and talented. Getting rich is a "fairy tale" for the majority of people. I think wealth worship is a rightist hobby. |
